Characters as a Service

How AI characters, cloned voices and generated video are labelled, what consent we hold for voices, and what is recorded when you chat or speak.

Every character on this platform is artificial. Voices, faces, films and written replies are machine-generated. A visible Verified Synthetic mark appears on character surfaces before the first exchange, and characters do not claim to be human — if you ask, they will tell you plainly.

This satisfies the transparency duties in Article 50 of the EU AI Act, which require people to be told when they are interacting with an AI system and require generated audio, image and video to be marked as artificially generated. US state synthetic-media disclosure laws are handled by the same labels.

Voices we use: Character voices come from licensed synthetic voice libraries, or from a voice built with the documented, written permission of the person whose voice it is.

Voices we refuse: We do not clone the voice or likeness of any identifiable person — a celebrity, a customer, a member of staff — without that person's signed consent for the specific use. Uploading someone's voice to have a character speak as them is prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy.

Consent you give us: Where a customer supplies a voice for their own branded character, they must confirm they hold the speaker's written consent, that the speaker was told the voice will be synthesised, and that consent can be withdrawn.

Withdrawal: A person whose voice or likeness appears here can have it removed. Ask on the withdrawal form in this Trust Center; we take the voice out of service within 5 business days and stop generating with it immediately on receipt.

Conversations with a character are stored. What is kept: the messages you send, the character's replies, the page you were on, timestamps and, if you are signed in, your account reference.

Why: to show you your own history, to keep the conversation coherent, to improve the character's accuracy, and to handle abuse and disputes.

We do not sell transcripts, and we do not hand them to third-party model providers for training. Model providers process the content only to return a reply. You can ask for your transcripts to be exported or deleted through this Trust Center.

Some features let you speak instead of type. When you do:

Do not speak card numbers, passwords, health details or other sensitive information into any character.

You can ask for a person at any point in any conversation, and the character will pass you on rather than improvise authority it does not have. Characters do not diagnose, do not give professional legal or financial advice, and do not promise outcomes.
